Snowmobile Safety Tips
The snowmobile season is here. Please take extra caution as there are still many low-lying power lines scattered throughout Chickasaw and Howard counties which are part of Hawkeye's ice storm restoration project.
This is dangerous for snowmobilers, especially at nighttime when the lines will be very hard to see. Your safety is important to Hawkeye and the repair of these low lying lines are part of the 2008 construction work plan.
