Banana Bread
1 c. sugar
2 c. flour
1 c. mashed bananas (the riper, the better)
½ t. soda
1 t. baking powder
1 egg
½ c. margarine (melted)
3 T. milk
½ c. chopped nuts
Mix with mixer. Pour in a greased 4 X 8 pan. Bake for 1 hour (or a few minutes more) at 350º.
This is the moistest banana recipe I’ve ever used. It is my mom’s recipe and is almost 40 years old. I’ve given it to over half of the people in the county….the only one I make!
