Canned Cole Slaw
Blend these ingredients together well:
1 med. head cabbage, shredded or chopped fine
1 c. finely chopped celery
2 c. carrots, chopped
1 red or green pepper, cut fine
1/2 c. chopped onion
Combine:
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 t. pickling salt
1/2 c. white vinegar
1/2 t. mustard seed
1/2 t. celery seed
Mix all together well and add to cabbage mixture, stir well to combine. Pack into pint jars and seal. Process 20 minutes in hot water bath.
