Chicken or Turkey Casserole
Enough meat to equal about 6 small breasts
1 c. mayo
1 c. celery (chopped)
2 cans soup (or 1 cream of chicken/1 cream of mushroom)
1 pkg. Pepperidge Farm dressing
1 pkg. slivered almonds
1 can mushrooms
1 can chestnuts
½ c. onions (chopped)
Put meat in bottom of glass pan, mix mayo, celery, soups, mushrooms, chestnuts and onions. Spread on top of meat and add Pepperidge Farm dressing. Then top with almonds. Bake at 350º for 40-50 minutes.
This makes a good dressing by adding Sage.
