Creamed Rabbit
1 rabbit
2 c. hot water
1 bay leaf
Sprig of rosemary
Sprinkle of salt
1 c. milk
4.5 oz. peppered gravy mix
Cook first five ingredients in a crock pot on high for about 4 hours, turning once until fall apart tender. Remove and de-bone.
Stir milk and gravy mix into broth. Return meat and cook until thickened. Serve over hot rice, potatoes, egg noodles or biscuits.
