Holiday Cranberry Salad
1/2 lb. ground cranberries
1 c. sugar
1/2 pint whipping cream, whipped
1 c. crushed pineapple
1/2 lb. marshmallows
Mix cranberries, pineapple and sugar. Let stand for two hours. Add marshmallows and whipped cream. Mix, chill and serve.
Variations:
- 1 c. grapes, halved instead of pineapple
- Add ½ c. nutmeats (refrigerate overnight, then add the nutmeats)
- 2 c. whip cream and (12 oz.) cool whip
